TD-SCDMA Update

As part of the memorandum of understanding signed in August 2006, Datang Mobile and Korea's SK Telecom have established a TD-SCDMA service center, located within Datang Mobile's Beijing facility. This service center is devoted to the development, testing, and validation of TD-SCDMA applications as well as the industrialization and commercialization of China's homegrown 3G standard. In addition, SK Telecom has projected a TD-SCDMA experimental station in Bundang-gu of Korea for the development of TD-SCDMA, super 3G, and 4G technologies.
